How To Participate in the Adjudication

The adjudication of the Lower Rio Grande basin began in 1997. Adjudications are lengthy legal processes to determine water rights. During the process, all water rights claimants will be asked to complete at least one of 4 forms. To help you particpate in the adjudication, this portion of the web site provides instructions on how and when to file the various forms.

If you need basic information about water rights and the adjudication process, please visit Water Rights Basics and Introduction to Water Rights Adjudication.
