Leslie has taught in a variety of contexts. She taught software use and computer programming courses through University of New Mexico (UNM) Continuing Education, at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM, formerly TVI) Workforce Training Center, and at CompUSA. While working for the Institute of Public Law at UNM, she helped develop several online judicial education courses, including a course on prosecuting intimate partner sexual abuse in the courts.. She completed a course in instructional design through the Organizational Learning and Instructional Technologies program at UNM. For her Water Resources Professional Project, Leslie developed a workshop targeted to water users in the Lower Rio Grande Adjudication. She piloted this workshop to a test group. Participating water users reported that it was extremely helpful to their understanding of the adjudication process and how to participate. You can view a presentation about the workshop or read the professional project report, Preparing Water Users in the Lower Rio Grande for Adjudication Through an Informative Workshop. |
